Sofia Cicchine is a recent graduate of Columbia University, with a degree in Art History and Sociology. She was born and raised in London to an American mother and Italian father. The name “Fusilli” was inspired by her heritage, playing on the classic Spaghetti Western genre.
Based in New York, Sofia has experience as an A24 intern, Sundance volunteer and Set PA on “The Penguin” (HBO Max), “Long Bright River” (Peacock), “Your Friends and Neighbors” (Apple TV+) and “Zero Day” (Netflix). Her first short film “Monsters These Days” (2023) is currently on the festival circuit, having just achieved Official Selection at Hollywood ShortsFest and Hollywood Comedy Shorts Festival.
